Hauwa in Arabic means the first lady or Eve. Hauwa also is the name of another young woman from Nigeria, who we met during our post pandemic journey at THERE!
This collection has been inspired by our lockdown mood, designs and fit to define the new age of fashion & dressing as we all have made a shift from structured lives to lives that flow with a little fluidity.
We met some absolutely phenomenal women who supported us after the release of the show Indian Matchmaking in the midst of this pandemic. As a small gesture of appreciation & gratitude towards these women, we have named our pieces after some of them!
